What..?

Our services hinge around four disciplines which we believe are instrumental to achieving sustainable growth:

Creative innovation

Creativity is not exclusive to a select few, rather it is within each of us in different ways. It needs to be unlocked by shifting perspectives. A sense of wonder and surprise arise when we engage creatively and let go of our preconceptions, fears, self-limiting beliefs. We work better, make better decisions and become happier. We believe that innovation and change become transformative when we work from our hearts and empower our creativity. Innovation ultimately means entering the unknown, so by definition one cannot really feel certain of the outcomes. Innovating creatively entails introducing playfulness and with it a full realm of new possibilities.

“Play is our brain’s favorite way of learning.” – Dianne Ackerman

Co-design

Co-design involves bringing different people to work together towards a solution by understanding the different perspectives and experiences around a given issue, brand, product or service.

Collaboration and human-centeredness are at the core of co-design as a creative process to enable novel, breathtaking and inspiring solutions to emerge.

We integrate business acumen and design principles, to deliver more lasting results at the crossroads of marketing, innovation and design-thinking. The combination of decades of business practice with state-of-the-art creative skills are the key to developing refreshing solutions with our clients’ teams.

Co-design is a relatively new concept, though the way it works is as old as mankind. It is directly related to our very human way of learning: by doing!

This is how most artists and creators work, and an innovative approach to business building. Groh! applies the latest thinking in this area to ensure that the innovation process is adaptable and teams learn through quick, successive approximations that lead to the delivery of tangible results.

“I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.” -Leonardo da Vinci

Design Research

Information is available in overwhelming amounts. It has become ubiquitous in the information age. We need discerning skills to allow us to understand and make sense of the world at the human level. Not just hypothesizing based on big data or traditional market research. But experiencing through immersion into the world op people, using empathy as a doorway to thick data that enriches our understanding of what is really going on.

Design research involves activating our curiosity with the end in mind: creating solutions that add real value to people. It is immersive and experiential. It is contextual and real. It is open-minded and creative.

We use a combination of ethnographic and design-driven methods to get to the heart of matters. Our design research projects require a high level of interaction and involvement in order to sense, analyze, invent and learn as we interact with the world of users.

“The fundamental purpose of design is to either answer or formulate essential questions.” – Harri Koskinen

Innovation culture

Change demands a degree of adaptability and flexibility that need to be built into our everyday practice. Practice makes perfect, yet there are moments in which a healthy reminder of our inner courage, a good ear to help identify the patterns and a solid companion to accompany our journey can make a huge difference in helping achieve our dreams.

At Groh! we believe that whatever you can dream, you can do. Just as ideas are nothing more than plans until they materialize, so are dreams nothing more than intentions until you act upon them.

Groh! supports and helps sustain a culture of innovation within organizations, big and small. We coach individuals, teams and develop projects to enable cultural change towards a more innovative, creative and entrepreneurial culture.

it is the courage to continue that counts.” – Winston Churchill
